Robinson delivers the first R44 cadets to Heliflite in Australia.
Torrance, CA – “Robinson Helicopter Company” delivered its first two production (serial numbers 30002 and 30003) of R44 helicopters cadets to Heliflite Australia, a long-time Robinson dealer.
The two R44 helicopters (Cadet) seats were certified by the FAA on May 6, 2016. The Cadet has ample cargo space in the rear compartment. It’s maximum gross weight was reduced to 2200 lbs and it has increased power. This provides greater performance margin at high altitude. It also increase the time between two revisions from 2200 hours to 2400 hours.
Cadet’s options list has recently been expanded. Now it includes Garmin G500H Flight Display, GTX 335 and 345 transponders, and the 350Hc GMA audio panel. A variety of optional equipment are available such as:
- air conditioning
- stability of the augment system with autopilot
- and avionics for VFR or IFR training
Base price for the R44 Cadet is US $ 339,000 and US $ 367,000 for the float version. Delivery times are currently 10-12 weeks.
